Located along the Skyline Trail in Jasper National Park, Shovel Pass Lodge offers hikers the opportunity to step back in time, take a load off, enjoy home-cooked meals and sleep in a cozy cabin.

Backcountry Comfort
Complete with 7 cabins, Shovel Pass Lodge has the capacity to host 18 people at a time. Each cabin is equipped with beds, fresh linens, propane heat, a wash basin and lighting. ​
​Prepared in a backcountry kitchen with ingredients that have been brought in on horseback, your stay includes delicious meals served family style in the main lodge.

Dinner will be served the evening of your arrival, followed by dessert, and breakfast the next morning. Bagged lunches are provided for hikers to take with them on their journey.

Access
The only way to reach our backcountry lodge is is by hiking. There is no road access to Shovel Pass Lodge.
The lodge is located on the Skyline Trail, 20.3 km from the Maligne Lake trailhead, near Curator Lake campsite.
From the lodge to Signal Mountain trailhead is 25.4 km. ​
